In-Person and Virtual Sessions Offered
Grief can feel disorienting, isolating, and deeply personal. Whether you are grieving the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a version of yourself, or a life you thought you would have, you do not have to move through it alone. I provide grief counseling in Houston and online across Texas, offering a supportive space to help you process loss at your own pace and in your own way.
Grief does not always look like sadness. It can show up as:
· Emotional numbness or disconnection
· Anxiety or emotional overwhelm
· Difficulty concentrating or making decisions
· Feeling stuck or “not like yourself”
· Waves of sadness that come and go unexpectedly
· Changes in sleep, energy, or appetite
· Feeling alone even around others
Grief can also come from non-death losses, including:
· Divorce or relationship endings
· Loss of identity or sense of self
· Life transitions or unexpected change
· Estrangement or relational rupture
All forms of grief are valid.
Grief therapy is not about “getting over” your loss.
It is about creating space to:
· Understand your emotional experience without judgment
· Process pain instead of suppressing it
· Make sense of the changes in your life
· Reconnect with your sense of self
· Learn how to carry grief in a way that feels more manageable
· Begin rebuilding meaning and stability over time
Healing does not mean forgetting. It means learning how to live alongside what has changed.
My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in helping you reconnect with yourself: your needs, your voice, and your direction moving forward.
In our work together, we may:
· Explore your unique experience of loss
· Identify emotional patterns that may be keeping you stuck
· Process unresolved emotions at a pace that feels safe
· Strengthen coping tools for daily life
· Rebuild a sense of identity after loss or transition
There is no “right way” to grieve. Therapy is a space where your experience is allowed to be exactly what it is.
I work with women navigating:
· Grief after the loss of a loved one
· Divorce and relationship dissolution
· Emotional loss within relationships
· Loss of identity or sense of self
· Life transitions that feel destabilizing or overwhelming
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling like they are “holding it together on the outside” while struggling internally.
Grief changes you, but you do not have to navigate it without support.
If you are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to move forward, therapy can provide a grounded space to begin making sense of what you’re carrying.
