Ear Acupuncture
AcuDetox, more commonly known as 5NP (5 Needle Protocol), is a gentle, standardized auricular (ear) acupuncture protocol used to support emotional, mental, and physical well-being.
The protocol involves the placement of 1-5 small sterile acupuncture needles in each ear to help regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, ease cravings, and support the body’s natural detoxification processes. It has been used effectively to mediate withdrawal, reduce symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and to support overall well-being.
Although individual responses to treatment vary and outcomes cannot be guaranteed, it is a safe, non-verbal, and accessible approach that complements talk therapy and other healing modalities.
If at any time you would like to receive 5NP during your session, the fee is $5 in addition to your regular session charge. 5NP is voluntary and can be requested with written consent at any in-person therapy session.
