Pregnancy & Postpartum

Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (PMADs)

Depression and anxiety are the most common complications in pregnancy and postpartum, affecting 1 in 7 women.

  • Approximately 21% of women will experience postpartum depression
  • An estimated 15-21% of women will experience depression or anxiety during pregnancy

I work with women in all stages of motherhood: Infertility or pregnancy loss, anxiety/depression during and/or after pregnancy, parent-child attachment, etc. Motherhood is filled with expectations from partners, family members, friends, social media, and many times your own. It can lead to feelings of inadequacy, insecurity, and insignificance.

The good news is that these symptoms are temporary and treatable with professional help!

I help women navigate stressors by harnessing their resources and identifying their strengths in order to increase empowerment and reclaim their identity.

*I have advanced training through Postpartum Support International (PSI).
